Pakistan: A Special Trading Partner For Malaysia - Pakistan Trade News

KARACHI - Malaysian Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas has said that Pakistan is indeed a special trading partner for the Malaysian palm oil industry.

He officiated the third Malaysia-Pakistan Palm Oil Trade Fair and Seminar (POTS) at a local hotel. Datuk said Pakistan has always been the most consistent buyer of Malaysian palm oil products and palm oil has featured as a major component of the growing bilateral trade between the two countries.  He said that there are ample opportunities for the private sectors of both countries to synergize, taking into account Pakistan’s strategic geographical location

Datuk also urged more Malaysian companies to collaborate with Pakistani companies in developing other areas in the oils and fats trade, including oleo chemicals, biomass utilization and animal feed.

“Such efforts will definitely spur the growth of the Pakistani oils and fats industry and enhance further the trade between the two countries,” he added. Repetitive of Malaysian Palm Oil Council in Pakistan, Faisal Iqbal told the journalists Pakistan is importing around 2.2 million tons palm oil from Malaysia and Indonesia and the shares of both countries in our market are 60 and 40 percent respectively.

20 Reasons You Shouldn’t Be a Freelancer Dude

We’ve all read countless articles on the reasons you should consider freelancing. They often make it out like anyone still working in the corporate world is just a schmuck with no ambition. But the truth is, there are plenty of reasons not to start freelancing

Below are twenty such reasons, all laid out so you can make an informed decision about whether freelancing is really something you want to do in your career.

There’s nothing wrong with staying in a corporate job, just as there’s nothing wrong with setting out on your own. But it’s a choice every designer and developer needs to make for themselves.

One note: when we talk about “corporate jobs”, we’re talking mostly about design firms with multiple employees (whether they’re corporations or not), but most of it also applies to in-house design teams at large companies.

1. You Think It Will Be Easier Than a Corporate Job

A lot of people considering freelancing think it will be easier than their current corporate job. After all, they’ll only have to take on projects they want to take on, they won’t have a boss or coworkers to deal with, and they’ll be able to set their own hours.
But most freelancers, when the first start out at least, aren’t able to be too picky about the work they take on. And while they don’t have coworkers or a boss to deal with, that means they also don’t have anyone to turn to if they get stuck on a project.
There are still clients to deal with, too. And the whole thing about setting your own hours pretty much just means you can choose which sixteen hours in the day you want to work when you’re getting started.

Starting Out As An Online Freelancer - Pakistan Freelance Guide

This series is aimed towards those who are trying to get into the wonderful world where one can work from his or her own home!

Guys, winning your first project is the most difficult job you'll ever get in this field. The entire online freelance community works on a crucial system of ratings. All major online marketplaces have rating systems which employers use to judge potential workers.

A person new to the world of freelancing is without a single rating, and so starting out can be very difficult. Few employers are willing to trust workers who have done no jobs on that marketplace previously.

But don't worry, we'll constantly update you with the latest tips and techniques to landing jobs, and hopefully guide you through the process. Feel free to communicate with us by leaving your comments below this post.

Part 1 of this series deals with setting up accounts on the most ideally suited freelancing marketplaces to those starting up!

ELANCE
Hi Pakistani Freelancer,

This is the Part 03 of the Freelancer Help Desk Series of Trading And Business In Pakistan.

While there are a lot of reviews comparing various freelancing websites, few do it from the perspective of a Pakistani. I have taken the time out to do a little bit of research to identify which website is most suitable for us, in terms of cost and payment methods.

There are a number of freelancing websites out there that allow Pakistani workers to work on projects and then get paid on them. However, a lot of Pakistanis have problems receiving payments from abroad because we cannot have a Paypal account in Pakistan and relying on the postal system to receive checks via snail mail is not a preferred option.

This series will talk about the pros and cons of the major online freelancing marketplaces from our perspective. The next website we will be looking at is:
